I've always had a passion for the world of art and design, but it took me a while to fully embrace it. After studying Hospitality and spending eight years in the industry, working as a Restaurant Manager for four years, I realised that my true calling lay elsewhere.
I’m a New Zealand- based Calligraphy & Engraving Artist / Graphic Designer
In 2016, I discovered calligraphy as a hobby, not realizing it would transform my life. What started as a creative outlet soon turned into a passion when people began noticing my work and requesting my services. That’s when Written was born—first as a side gig while I worked full-time, and then as a stepping stone into a career I love.
Over time, I expanded my skills and taught myself graphic design, eventually landing a role as a professional designer. This shift opened up a world of possibilities, but my heart always remained with the art of creating unforgettable moments through calligraphy and engraving.
Today, I focus on being a calligraphy artist, specialising in live calligraphy for events and in-studio commissions work. Bringing a personalised touch to each event is more than just my craft - it’s my way of helping people create meaningful connections and lasting memories.
